		<description>A friend spent years and years being quite distressed about a brass engraving in the church dedicated to someone who had died as it said the sign had been erected by his executer.  She was in her late teens when it suddenly dawned on her that this didn&#039;t mean executioner!</description>

		<description>I remember being probably about 14 when I realised that &quot;epitome&quot; writtern down was the same word as &quot;e-pit-um-mee&quot; spoken :) And I was about 30 when I realised I&#039;d been pronouncing &quot;Episcopalian&quot; in my head as &quot;Episcalopian&quot; (a la Nealopitan, if people you know say that!).</description>
